Work permit screenings
The DK - German Medical Diagnostic Center Ltd. makes a concerted effort to stay abreast of government regulations and offer its valued customers services that facilitate their interaction with government offices where such depends on the production of a health certificate. Following recent changes, foreign nationals wishing to obtain or renew their work permits will be required to undergo a medical screening.
The DK - German Medical Diagnostic Center Ltd. has recently amended its registration with the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and associated government organs to have on file three authorised signatories so as to assure the continuous, uninterrupted issuance of health certificates for submission to the state.
Those individuals requiring a health certificate in view of obtaining or renewing a foreign national work permit can visit our facility during our normal hours of operation without the need for an appointment. The certificate and associated medical report will be issued the next working day. Volume clients are offered the possibility of site visits thereby foregoing the need to send large numbers of foreign staff to our facility.
Please take due note that any individual wishing to obtain a health certificate for work permit reasons is required to produce their original passport during the examination so as to permit our staff to note the pertinent details for entering on the official certificate.
The flat charge levied for the services required to be rendered to permit issuance of an official health certificate are currently levied at USD 125.00 per person.
The following services are included in this cost:
- Physical examination including vital signs
- Health questionnaire and medical history
- Complete blood count
- Urine testing
- Tuberculosis screening (by blood or chest X-ray)
- Infectious disease screening (Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV and Syphilis)
